Sushi is decent; rice is a little too over cooked for my taste and the rolls are also too thick in my opinion, but still good flavor though. General Tso's chicken was good as well; nicely seasoned and sauce was great as well.

Sushi is always delicious and fresh. Great, great flavor in all ingredients and sauces. Tiny venue but great atmosphere and friendly, courteous staff. Highly recommended for take out.

Fast, fresh, and unpretentious. My go-to takeout in the Ferndale/Oak Park area. Not the best sushi in the world, but definitely the best sushi at this price range.

First time. Ordered the pepper steak. Shrimp fried rice,Chicken lo mein, and jumbo shrimp. Lo mein was good! Shrimp was a bust. Pepper steak was basic. Rice was good. Maybe I ordered wrong items idk I wasn't impressed. Spent 40 bucks for mediocre food.

Some of the best Chinese food I've had in a very long time. This may be my new go to place. Large portion sizes, food was very hot when we got it. I could have shared a meal with my significant other and we would have still been satisfied. The sushi was fresh, nice size - not tiny with a small amount of filling like other places try to get away with. Will be back!

Wonderful service and food! We originally were waiting for Over Easy when the chef asked us to come try their brunch. We decided to give it a try and everything was delicious! We would definitely recommend for breakfast and dinner. The customer service was outstanding

I really like this place its quick and to the point no sitting in eating no standing around just order your food and go or wait outside in the car till your food is done

I love the food there and especially if you're vegan. Great menu. I must warn you to be careful ordering foods you've never had. Always ask them to show you first. I ordered seaweed salad and I almost threw up half my insides. Other than that the food is banging.

Anything you could ever want Asian style. The sushi is top-shelf, portions are large and adequately wrapped for carry out. I highly recommend their bento box number one. The beef Pad Thai is probably the best I've ever had. The most important thing is customer service, these folks nail it.

I ate here for the first time a few months ago. It was unbelievable! The food is amazing! I haven't gotten anything i didn't like! Very fresh hand rolled sushi! Polite staff and very efficient! There always busy! Be patient, its worth it!

This is one of the better Tai food restaurants in the area. They offer Japanese style ans Chinese style dishes AND sushi. Their portions are great and their food is tasty and cooked well!

There are not enough good things I can say about Tai Fai! Its fast, fresh and delicious. The portions are easily enough for 2 people to share. We are pretty big eaters so that's saying something. My favorite part is probably that the sushi is actually fantastic, as well as affordable.

This food was amazing! The tempura vegetables were extremely tasty. They weren't greasy. OMG. I want seconds but I'm so full!!

Tempura batter is horrible. Very thick, more like breadcrumb batter NOT true tempura. Way too much rice on my rolls. After i peeled off the excess rice and thick batter i could finish lunch at least. Very Mediocre sushi. General tsos chicken is very salty and soggy. Shrimp fried rice is good i will say that. But im not a fan and wont return.

I really enjoyed the fried rice, but another patron warned me that they don't give enough shrimp for the price. He was right. The flavor was good, but I wish they had put more seafood in the fried rice for $14.

Simply amazing. The portion size for the rice is enough to share and taste AMAZING. The sushi is super good too. I have yet to be disappointed.

This is the best sushi I've ever had. The rolls are massive and everything is cooked perfectly. My favorites are the tempura veggie roll and the Godzilla roll

Love the people here the food is great best price around .The only place you can get a better price is Fuji buffet in Troy/Madison Hts .But Tai Fai have a better relationship with the customers and the community.

Very good! My wife, our son and I were in the mood for some sushi and Royal Oak is a mad house in the summer and the 2019 Dream Cruise was in full swing. So w headed to Ferndale MI and found Tai Fai.This is very small restaurant and know for carry out but we did find room for 3. But the taste isn't small! Excellent choice.Try the Michigan Roll or The Crunch.

We love going out. Last night we visited this delicious place which friends told us about. We had a lovely time there with very good meal and a well-trained stuff and a professional chief cook. We put this place in our phone list and we shall surely visit again very soon. We deeply recommend.

The fried rice is very good here and the pad Thai is decent. The portion sizes are going to keep you coming back. They give enough for two meals easily and that's for a grown man. I've also experienced very nice people working the register every time I've shopped here. The building itself and the waiting area are quite dingy but it's a carry-out place only do it's not a deal breaker. Prices are very reasonable, especially given the portion sizes.

Incredible Carry out, whether you want sushi or Thai food. Large portions, good flavors, and an accurate time assessment when they tell you it will be ready on the phone. I live close to this place and my only complaint is my waistline can't survive if I get the chicken fried rice on a daily basis.

I will let you know this is based on my 1st tempura shrimp roll, but besides being a double shrimp roll which is hard to eat neatly with chop sticks, I can wait to order another. Being take out only, I can be messy at home. Quick service and the fact they use sticky rice in bento boxes will make this one of my regular places.
